Dancing Bitcoin Robot

In 2013, I made this as a way of enticing people to donate bitcoins to our hackerspace heatsync labs.
It used Coinbase’s API to receive notifications when donations were made.
When a donation was made, it would update the display (which indicated our balance), and make the hula dancer dance.
I also had a bookmarklet on my browser that would make it dance even without a donation. This was fun when people were reading the description, because it would surprise them.
(This was displayed in the window of the hackerspace for about a year. I eventually butchered it for parts)
